Props are fun, but I have a tendency to lean towards props that are meaningful. For instance, when my oldest was nine months old my husband bought him a dump truck that he adored. So for my son’s first birthday pictures, I had him pushing that dump truck. My passion for meaningful props has inspired me to start offering personalized photo sessions.
I want to offer sessions that tell a story of your child at the moment. I want to capture the intense focus, the imaginative play, the silliness and seriousness of childhood. We’ll still take some traditional portrait like photos, but we will also have fun and take photos that show off who your child is right now.
You and I will have a chat about your little one which will help us come up with a theme and plan. I’ll bring what I can, but most of the props will come from your house; toys that your kiddo plays with every day. Your little one will have a blast being photographed since I will snap photos as he or she plays.
I presented my idea for personalized sessions to a friend and she hopped on board immediately. In mama’s words, “They are wonderful. You captured my true girl” and “she loved every minute of the shoot.” . In my eyes, that’s success!
Give me a call, message me, or email me so we can set up your personalized session! Right now I’ll offer a special for these personalized sessions and offer them at my current prices. These sessions produce more photos and take more time, so eventually rates will be higher. Jump on board and let’s capture your “true” child!
