Families like this one make me happy that I started a photography business. Each person in this family was kind and had a sweet, gentle spirit. My favorite is when kind people are also fun people! These two kiddos were fun for sure! After a few minutes of shooting the little brother was tired of taking pictures so we played a short game of chase. (Photo tip: Chase is a great way to get a kid to smile! Just be prepared to sweat!) Run around, back to base (the blanket), quick smile and then repeat! Note to self: Don’t wear new shoes to a photo shoot. Especially shoots with younger kids. My blisters have still not healed!
The blisters were worth it though! I am head over heals about the shot of the two kids dog piled on the blanket after a game of chase! I am so thankful I was quick enough to capture that moment! The fun did not end at the game of chase though. We ended looking for fish and turtles in the water. Don’t think it can get any better than that! What a great job I have!
