Right behind my house I have access to such a beautiful location to take pictures that it almost feels like cheating. So much so that I have a tendency to suggest other locations first. I think I will be suggesting my house more often because each time I go back there I fall more in love with the setting and find more creative ways to shoot.
This sweet mama-to-be was ready to take her shoes off and walk through the mud to get to the creek, but thankfully dad-to-be called nay at putting his 39 week pregnant wife in a position to slip. Big sigh of relief!!!! While the inability to take shots by water was disappointing, we still were able to take some great pictures. At one point we even thought we were going to get some pictures of them with of my deer friends walking up! Sadly, my deer buddies chickened out….seriously wanting to take a handful of deer corn next time!! :0)
Taking the creek and pond out of the equation really made me slow down and look with a new perspective at my surroundings. I am so thankful! I found a great way to incorporate the tree that I am in love with. I adore its long, low hanging, moss filled branches, but have struggled with finding ways to incorporate the entire tree into photos. I adore how it sits in the background and frames this couple. I’ll keep looking with fresh eyes for new ways to incorporate this tree, but definitely want to take this shot again!
Like this location?? Let’s take some photos!!! I have just a FEW November weekday slots open, but still have the second weekend in December WIDE open! I even have a fast enough turn around to get your photos back in time for Christmas cards!
