Taking photos of high school seniors reminds me of taking photos of two year olds. No, this isn’t an insult! It’s actually quite heartwarming! I always tell people TWO is the most important age to photograph. (DO. NOT. SKIP taking pictures at two!) Why? Because they are this beautiful mix of super little and big kid! You still have their big squishy cheeks, but can see their bigger kid face starting to shine through! Little and big all at the same time! Now do you see where I am going with this? 😉 Eighteen is the same way! You’ll look at these teens one way and see a young teen and then BOOM! You take another glimpse and their adult face shines through! It’s crazy cool and so much fun to photograph! I love capturing this exciting time of saying hello to a new world full of excitement and opportunity!
